Wisconsin will see red on Friday

The first statewide event of the Great Schools Statewide Action Plan is this Friday, when WEAC members and supporters of public education throughout the state wear red to show their support for candidates who support great schools.

WEAC members at the 2004 Representative Assembly created the Great Schools Statewide Action Plan. The plan calls for locals to commit to one of three levels of activity designed to win support for a revised system of school funding and a fair collective bargaining law that will ensure that every child in Wisconsin has access to a great public school.
